Monday Poetry Workshop

Please join us for a Monday night poetry workshop.

We’ll focus on specific elements of the craft and give honest responses to the work. All skill levels are welcome. Respect for each other is a must.

READING MATERIALS:

Please find Barbie's work here.

Please find Carly's work here.

If youre new to the BWW, please read this guide on how our process works. If you skip it, you will not be well-prepared for the workshop, and you won’t get the most out of your experience. Please also consider reading this article on how to give feedback.

You can find out which writers are submitting work for discussion at this meeting—or submit a request to have your work discussed—here.

    Hosted by Burlington Writers Workshop,
Poems by Carly and Barbie are posted.
Since two stepped up, I’m happy to coast
And make my submission for this week toast. Looking forward to our discussion, Martin

This workshop has gained several people who want to present their work this time around. So, I'm happy to withdraw my request to post my own work.

So far, no one has signed up to submit poems for this workshop. So, I will work up some stanzas in the next day or 2. If they're done in time, then you'll be able to find them posted to this workshop's page; and if I'm late, then I will bring them to BWW next Monday eve. I want to encourage anyone attending to either bring or post your poetry. I'd love to read or hear your completed or in-progress verse. For myself, I seem to benefit most from hearing what people have to say about pieces with which I'm frustrated or unsure. Thanks, Martin.
