BOOst Your Dramatic Tension

Please upload your submissions (Limit is 6000 words, but you may go a bit over to avoid an awkward break.), double-spaced, in Word 97-03 (.doc), or RTF) to "Files" under the "More" tab by 3:00pm on Sat. 10/11. Note whether it is a complete work or a piece in progress. Critiques will be optional on any work posted later. Bring your crits to the meetup so that you can present their main points, and please upload them to "Files" ASAP afterward. (If you submit work it WILL be critiqued, so there is an expectation of quid pro quo even if you do not attend the meetup.) Note: Some work submitted may be intended for mature readers, so if you are under 18 years of age we request that you obtain permission from a parent/guardian before you participate. At Flapjack's enter through the front door, make a right, and go to the tables at the far end. We're in the restaurant, not the pub. See you there! :)

Don - I am interested to coming to Dillsburg fiction critiques. Do you have a specific schedule (like second Sunday) or are they irregular? Do you post the work first? Hope to hear back from you. Regards Rich H

I'm not sure I'm going to make it there at all unless I get out of my meeting reasonably soon. If not, see you next time...

I'm sorry you couldn't make it today, but hope to see you in Nov. :)

It seems to me like I don't need to log in in order to view everybody's profile and my postings. Is everything that we post here public? I still don't know how to read somebody's uploaded work or how to log into the private space to share my own work. May somebody guide me through this website, please?

    Sincerely,
    Basia

Whats the typical ration of prose to poetry at these critiques?

Thanks for the response. I have two poems I am looking to share with other writers and have critiqued. I may submit them. I am also currently working on some prose, but it is no where close to being shared

Elise, I'm no expert, but I've written poems, and I enjoy reading poetry. Please share them with us.
