Are you familiar with Permaculture?

Somewhat, but more in principal than in practice. I have watched and read everything I could get my hands on for a few months now and have a good amount of time in just observing natural systems. I am working on my first permaculture related project now.

Where do your interests lie?

The whole thing, especially done on a small foot print since that is what I am dealing with at this time. I would like to build a sustainable microsystem including housing, employment, electricity production, water catchment, and year around food supply.

Are you interested in sustainable building, renewable energy, rainwater capture, seed saving, edible food forests?

yes to all and taking them to the extreme for that matter :)

Introduction

I grew up on a small farm in NE Michigan and have been in Charleston for a few years now.I can't wait to learn and share with everyone as I learn permaculture (and gardening in general) in a new climate.
