Susan's Thursday Paddle - 12pm Start!

I'm planning to go out almost every Thursday.  We will launch this week from STA 26 soon after 12pm (note, I'll arrive by 12 and launch when ready).

In order for the group to stay together we would prefer you to be in a touring style kayak of at least 14 feet. (If you have questions about this please message me).  Also, if you have never paddled before, please take a lesson at Sea Kayak Carolina prior to joining a group of paddlers.  Generally, we paddle in fairly sheltered water, but sometimes the wind can whip things up.  When we launch, the direction we paddle will be in the direction safest for the weather conditions.

We'll paddle for about 2 hours or so.  Where we go and what we do will depend upon the tides and the weather, and who shows up and what they want to do. Destinations are many (Remley's Point, Simmons Public Boat Landing, Pitt Street Bridge, Breach Inlet.....) or we will just paddle through the beautiful marsh and see what we see.

This is a MeetUp and you are responsible for your own safety.  Life jackets must be fitted properly and worn at all times.

Sorry, but I think Julies daughter left me with her cold last week as she left for NY.

Wonderful day! Thank you, Susan. Someone, can't remember who, Hillary, perhaps, was looking for a part. Try Tom's Top Kayaker Shop. https://topkayaker.com/ He's got tons of stuff, great service. I'd call him if you don't see it on the site.

Beautiful day watching the Dolphins stranding at Breech Inlet and venturing out in the ocean.
