Bring your sea kayak and lets paddle in the sea!
We will launch at 8:30 on the ocean side of Sullivans Island and head through the breach, behind the island with the incoming tide. We'll paddle out into the harbor and out the channel with the outgoing tide. We will paddle in the ocean across the front of Sullivans, perhaps surfing, perhaps dodging dolphin.
Depending on the speed of the pod and how many distractions we find, this paddle will take about 3 - 4 hours. Bring a snack and water. Wear a properly fitted PFD and a spray skirt and paddle a kayak at least 14' in length.
Please only come if you can handle the conditions, but at this time, it looks like they will be calm.
