The Chef's Table Pages

Take me to the The-Chef-s-Table Meetups events!

The Chef's Table was founded on the simple idea that strong relationships between family and friends flourish at the dinner table with a well prepared, creative meal.

If you enjoy dining out, cooking in the comfort of your own kitchen, experiencing a new restaurant or revisiting an old favorite... If you love great food, sharing recipes and meeting new friends... then come and reserve your place at The Chef's Table .

I studied under the "Masters" at the world-renowned French Culinary Institute and was Chef to New York's Rich & Famous for many many years. Nothing brings me more joy and fulfillment than sharing my knowledge and love of food with others.
Like you, many of my most cherished memories, begin and end around a crowded dinner table. This is my celebration of food!

Welcome to my Chef's Table...
Bon Appetite!

I frequently have events where attendance is limited to a specific number of people due to space considerations. Usually this is because of the need to make restaurant reservations or because someone has opened her home to an event.

There is nothing more disheartening for myself and the Assistant Organizers than to put together an event, get there, and then find that only five people have showed up for a reserved table of eight! What's just as bad are those late cancellations (within a couple of hours of the event) when it is too late to take any corrective action. Keep in mind as well that there are frequently people on the wait list who would have been delighted to take those empty seats!

No-showing is not cool! It is not considerate! Nor is it acceptable! So here is our No-Show/Late Cancellation Policy -- and it will be diligently observed.

No-Show/Late Cancellation is defined as failing to attend an event for which you have RSVP’d ‘yes’ and for which you have not called, emailed or changed the RSVP to ‘no’ within 4 HOURS of the start time of the event. No-Show/Late Cancellation status only applies to limited-attendance events, and in home events not open-attendance events.

-- The first time you No-Show or Late Cancel, you get a warning.
-- The second time, you are not allowed to RSVP for an event for a month.
-- The third time, you are blackballed for three months.
-- If you do it again, you're removed as a member.
