    Very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed doing familiar dances and learning some new ones.

    Best practice yet, especially when you consider that the invite went out Monday and the most experienced Sharon couldn't make it. Alex, Anita, Antonie, Chris, Emily, Ralph, Tracey, and I were a set of 8. Together we did, Petite Vriens, Rufty Tufty, Hearts Ease, Heralds in Love, Black Nag, and Ballo De Fiore.

    Here's a tip: To encouraged repeat attendance of new members, be sure not to:

    * bum a ride.
    * get into a political discussion.
    * Accidentally send them the wrong way down a one way street.

    Sorry Emily :(

    It was too short 2 hours just isn't enough dancing!

    Hyde Park is another good dance for eight. You can also do any of the couples dances you feel comfortable with: Amoroso, Ly Bens Distonys, Black Alman. Eight is enough to do washerwomans or pease branle.

    Looks like I'll be running this. We'll start by drilling what we have learned so far with Petit Vriens, Rufty Tufty and Hearts Ease. With Alex and Chris, and Emily we'll have 8, and can go through Heralds in Love and Black Nag. We can also do Ballo De Fiori, and Gelosia. Depending on the stregth of our veterans, we may run through 2 verses of Gracca Amorosa, but will at the very least be able to demo it.
