Throughout the NBA season, the Toronto Raptors and the Air Canada Centre will feature various cultural celebration nights to reflect the multiculturalism of Toronto and the diversity of the NBA. On Wednesday April 2, Jeremy Lin and the Houston Rockets are coming to town! It will be officially celebrated as Chinese Night at the Air Canada Centre.

Aside from the Taiwanese-American cultural icon, the Houston Rockets are led by Dwight Howard (perennial all-star, USA Olympian Gold Medalist and former Slam Dunk Champion) and James Harden (one of the best scorers in the game). They have one of the best records in the NBA.

Our Toronto Raptors are having a surprisingly good season and are in third place in the Eastern Conference! They lead the Atlantic Division and are poised to make the playoffs for the first time in over five years. We have our own all-star guard in Demar DeRozan, as well as last year's slam dunk champion, Terrence Ross! This should be an amazingly exciting game with some of the NBA's brightest and most talked-about stars. It will likely be sold out.

I have already purchased 4 tickets in the upper balcony overlooking near the centre of the court (Balcony 2, Section 322). I was able to utilize a corporate discount so the tickets are cheaper than you would normally get them, as this is a Premium game so the regular price is reflective of that. It's only $33 per ticket and you can pay me back in person using cash or credit card (I have Square, so I can process credit cards on my iPhone). First 3 people to RSVP will come! Wait-list available.

Toronto is the only city outside of the United States to have an NBA team! Watching live NBA basketball is a very thrilling experience. The atmosphere in the arena should be crazy that night, so come join us and let's enjoy it together :)

I'm a Jeremy Lin fan, but first and foremost, a Raptors fan. Go Raps Go! I'll be wearing my Raptors t-shirt that day (previously featured in the Japan Foundation AKB48 video for about 2 seconds - haha). If you have any basketball jerseys or Toronto sports team memorabilia, please try to wear it :)
