Third time's a go! How does a bike ride with a Bible study/discussion sound?!
The Arlington Loop is a very popular bike trial that passes through Crystal City, the airport, Arlington Cemetery, to North Arlington and the Four Mile Run Trail. The full length is 17 miles.
The plan is to start at the W&OD trail head in Shirlington and take the Four Mile Trail to the park by the airport. There are areas there we can stop and have a short Bible study, eat, talk, and continue biking.
Here is a link to the Arlington loop:
The topics for the Bible discussion are vast. For those that are interested in attending, you can share what you would like to discuss in the feed and we can all decide, or I can pick a topic. We can talk about a particular book in the Bible, a person, a spiritual fruit, answer questions, or any other number of areas.
What to bring:
Comfortable clothing to bike and sit in
Bible (something for notes if you like)
Heart to learn from God and each other!
For those of you who do not have a bike and would like to rent one from the Capital Bikeshare stand: http://capitalbikeshare.com/how-it-works
If you have questions, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to doing this with various outdoor activities and meeting everyone!
