The Circular Society is network of individuals determined to make Providence and the world at large a more sustainable place. We meet to explore 21st century concepts of sustainability like the Circular Economy, C2C & Biomimicry; and discuss how they can be applied to businesses, governments & communities to reduce waste by never creating it in the first place! Instead of the traditional approach to resource management, where recycling is considered only after a product has been manufactured and consumed; our focus is a circular model, where reuse of a product and its component material is part of it’s design, and built into it’s distribution from the very beginning.
We meet regularly to: - Discuss tactics, strategies and philosophies to implement a circular approach to consumption and resource management. - Combine those lessons with our individual backgrounds in a way that creates effective solutions to real world problems. - Take action to implement those solutions and improve the quality of life in Providence and beyond.
Regardless of your background or experience, if you want to have your say in creating a sustainable planet for future generations, and take part in what some see as an economic opportunity of epic proportions, we encourage you to attend our next event!
