Meet and socialize with local professional and aspiring video game developers to talk about game development, design, and the game industry. Programmers, artists, designers, and anyone else interested in game development are invited to join. Let's show the world that Ohio is the next hot spot for the video game industry!

Anyone is welcome to show up at a our meetings. From hobbyists and students who want to learn more about the best way to get into the game developments industry to professionals who want to talk about the newest tech and share their experiences.

Our meetings often lasts 3-4 hours. The focus of this group is mostly social. We have occurring monthly GameDev Meetup events on the last Saturday and Prototype and Play on the 2nd Friday of the month. Come out and say hi!

GDEX 2019 - THE MIDWEST'S PREMIER GAMING EXPO

This year's 2019 GDEX gaming expo is right back at the Convention Center with bigger titles, more speakers/workshops, and more game developers like you! Dev Day provides those that really want to get into Game Development a chance to learn from some of the best GDEX has to offer. Each Dev Day session will be 1.5 - 3 hours long, with intermediate to advanced topics on art, programming, design and music. Friday 11th 7pm-11pm - Kickoff Event @ Granero Lounge Come join us Friday night and start the GDEX weekend off right. This is a great opportunity to meet the exhibitors and speakers before the expo starts. The Kickoff party is a laid back environment where people can have a drink and get ready for the awesome weekend ahead! We’ll have a variety of great activities and there’s always fun to be had! Prototype, Play, and Build Workshops

Come join us at the Multivarious Games office for our monthly COGG Prototype and Play @ the Sandbox Co-Working space! It'll be packed with lots of camaraderie playing your's and other's games at the Idea Foundry's 2nd floor. Attendees: Don't have a game to show? Not a problem! All are welcomed and invited from all ages and backgrounds. The more we can have to play test our games the better! Developers: Do you have a game that you would like to get critical feedback? Would you like an excuse to work on a game with other talented artists, programmers, musicians, designers, and writers? Digital, table-top, non-experienced developers, and the like are welcomed! We'll provide signage for your game to help others learn more about your work. Come to the Prototype and Play workshop to collaborate and meet local game developers for an evening of epic and raw game play fun! Play works in progress, show off your own game, work with others to add polish to a game, or even lend your talents to other fellow developers. Pizza, drinks, and other food will be provided!
