Yes, we are back for our TENTH ever official Dare To Be Yourself event.

You know the plan.. Three special guests with different backgrounds sharing their stories. It works a treat!

Learn, connect, be inspired and have your heart warmed.

In previous events these are just some of the speakers we've had:

- A creative funeral planner

- A songwriter who creates songs for autistic children

- Writer and historian sharing about his many past lives

- Psychotherapist specialising in sex addictions

- A full time touring musician

- A style coach

- An Integrative Body Psychotherapist

- A mental health campaigner

- Author of The Love Project (how to project manage your love life)

We are very lucky to have secured one of London's friendliest art spaces The Diorama Art Studios

We will have three amazing special guests. Here's a bit about two of them:

Leon Stuparich is an award winning independent film-maker, who made his debut with the celebrated documentary Road to Peac (, providing a rare insider view into the life of the Dalai Lama and his powerful message of Peace and Universal Responsibility.

With an extensive background in UK and US film and television spanning 20 years, Leon specializes in editing documentaries and factual entertainment programmes for the BBC, Channel 4, Discovery and various other global TV productions. Like many directors with a background in editing, he brings a unique storytelling style to his films.

Leon was determined to produce Road to Peace because of the unique access he was granted to the Dalai Lama, and due to the shortage of portraits of the Dalai Lama focused on his spiritual and humanitarian life. Using his editing skills, Leon created a modern “fly on the wall” documentary technique to share the experience of meeting and spending personal time with the Dalai Lama.

PS. NEW TO MEETUP? I am aware that many of you are new to meetup and are unsure of what to expect. It is a fabulous way to get out and connect with others. It's been said, 'You will be the same person in five years as you are today except for the people you meet and the books you read.' You have probably noticed there is such a variety of different meetups. I have attended meetups for business, social, sport, creativity, personal development. I love what meetup has to offer! Some meetups attract a good number of people and have typically taken some years to gather that kind of following. Others target a very small niche and work well even with just a few people attending. My advice to you is to expect to have a positive experience. It can be just one small interaction with another person that can make the biggest difference. The possibility of that connection will never happen if you decide that you are just a bit too tired after work. Nothing changes, until you do. You can get what you want out of meetup, decide to give something a try and go for it.
