Do you have any experience with HDR photography?

I have used Photomatix and bracketing, and want to increase my knowledge and expertise in the HDR world.

Why do you want to join this meetup?

I have learned that many folks simply do not like (or appreciate) HDR photos. Therefore, meeting others who share my passion for the topic would be great!

How much photography experience do you have?

Advanced hobbyist with digital photography and some prior experience with 35mm photos. Several moons ago, I was a Photolithographer in the USAF, learning development skills, composition skills, photo plate making, and exposure to press/binding.

Do you know of any locations that would be good for HDR photography?

Well, of course many of the monuments in D.C. offer excellent opportunities, but other venues would work such as Annapolis harbor, boating marinas, car shows, auto junk yards.

I'm a former Photolithographer, and want to expand my interests into the digital photography world. HDR photography greatly interests me, due to the creativity one can experience in enhancing a regular, normal photograph, and create a work of art.
