Suneet is the Sr. Director of Cloud Infrastructure and Platform at eBay having responsibility for the engineering and operations of one of the largest private Clouds in the world. Suneet has had a long career in the tech industry. Passionate about leadership and technology, he believes that no problem is too big if you have the right team working on it. In his current role,

Prashanth B., Google

SW Engineer

Prashanth joined the Kubernetes team soon after they went public, pre 1.0. He is currently working on Kubernetes networking, specifically the "Ingress" api for service loadbalancing at layer 7.

Prior to this he worked on the scalability of various Kuberentes master components. In a previous role at Google he worked on infrastructure for managing a fleet of physical servers.  Prashanth is active contributor on github https://github.com/bprashanth

Jim Bugwadia, Nirmata 

Founder and CEO

Jim brings over 20 years of industry experience in the formation of Nirmata a software-as-a-service solution for the operations and management of cloud-native applications. With Nirmata, applications are composed of multiple services, also referred to as a Microservices style architecture.  Nirmata builds on Docker application container technology, and provides features to model, deploy, and manage cloud applications across public and private clouds. 

Prior to Nirmata, Jim was Senior Manager, Cloud Practice at Cisco Systems and Software Director at Trapeze Networks. 

Shashi Kiran, Appcito

Chief Marketing Officer

Prior to Appcito, Shashi was the worldwide marketing leader for Cisco’s multi-billion data center and cloud networking technology group and software-defined technologies like Cisco’s Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), Intercloud fabric and storage networking. Prior to that he led Cisco’s $13 Billion+ Enterprise and DC switching group and Cisco’s Enterprise Routing and WAN portfolio marketing. Mike D. Kail, Cybric 

Chief Innnovation Officer

Prior to founding Cybric, Mike Kail was Yahoo’s CIO and SVP of Infrastructure, where he led the IT and Data Center functions for the company. He has more than 24 years of IT Operations experience with a focus on highly-scalable architectures.

Prior to joining Yahoo, Mike served as VP of IT Operations at Netflix. Before that role, Mike was VP of IT Operations at Attensity, where he was responsible for the Americas data center operations team; including managing various Big Data systems with their Hadoop cluster, HBase and MongoDB components.

He has been widely recognized for his insightful industry commentary on social media, and was recently named by the Huffington Post as one of the “Top 100 Most Social CIOs on Twitter.”

He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Iowa State University. Mike is based in Los Gatos, CA, where he lives with his wife and two sons. 

Vipin Jain, Cisco

Distinguished Engineer

Vipin Jain (@jainvipin_) leads Contiv efforts, an open-source initiative sponsored by Cisco, to address networking challenges for containerized applications in the DevOps world. Prior to this, he worked on ASIC design and software implementation for highly successful Nexus, ACI and UCS products at Cisco. He worked in multiple successful startups with the lead technical and management roles.
