Improve your core and posture!
Pilates is a gentle yet effective way of strengthening the body, working on core engagement, flexibility, shoulder, pelvic and hip mobility and stability.
The principles of Pilates are incorporated into controlled movements that can be modified and progressed making exercises appropriate for all levels.
Emphasis on breathing technique, balance, alignment and coordination makes Pilates an enjoyable and relaxing way to work the body. Focussing on the core muscles that support the lower back can improve posture and help with back pain.
Our 'Mixed Ability' course will be held weekly, on a Tuesday evening and will help those with experience of Pilates to continue to strengthen the body in an even way, with particular emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness and wellbeing.
£6 per class.
Includes refreshments. We suggest that you wear suitable clothing. if you have a pilates/yoga mat feel free to bring it with you, mats are available for use during class.
