JOIN ME DURING THIS TIME OF JAN. FOR AND GEM AND MINERAL SHOWS . I HAD A GREAT TIME BOONDOCKING IN QUARTZSITE And would like to go back.. Now I know the ropes and can guide you if you would like to come. There are several main areas around Quartzsite that you can stay for free boondocking and all you have to do is register for 2 weeks stay. There is a dump station and fill up for fresh water in town for a fee. We can actually meet in town at the Greasewood RV park(right in town main area) that is only for boondocking for $7 a night then decide where we want to stay for the rest of the time. The boondocking areas are gravel and hard packed so no worry about getting stuck in sand. They have a big Ole swap meet going on all the time(so many items perfect for your RV) with eating places and live music everyday. During the winter they have special community events every week with parades, live music and BBQ's . There are a lot of nice restaurants but not expensive. It's the most inexpensive RV'ing you can do and it would be so much fun if we got a group going and had potlucks to join in. However there are so many groups of RVers there that are very friendly and welcoming , there are firepits to share with your neighbors and get to know them.

,I do not think that they allow tenters to stay in the boondocking areas however I did see that the Greasewood RV Park did allow it , however there are no bathrooms at the park. There are pay bathrooms and showers available within walking distance of the park in town .
