The Turn of the Screw - an opera by Benjamin Britten

Imig Music Building

This is a buy-your-own ticket event. The performance is in the Music Theater, a smaller venue in the basement of the Imig Music Building on the CU Campus. I am in seat D-1. Still plenty of good seats available. We'll go out for supper before the show - place TBD. To buy your tickets, go here: https://cupresents.org/event/1610/cu-opera/the-turn-of-the-screw/ Benjamin Britten’s 20th-century English chamber opera—replete with both tonality and dissonance—is something of a horror story, based on Henry James’ disturbing novella of the same name. A young governess is terrorized by suspicious apparitions in a classic tale of the end of innocence, the struggle between good and evil … and supernatural realms. "The Turn of the Screw" is presented by the Eklund Opera Program.
