11/15- I changed the theater because they have a early/later showing 11:40am which will still be $6 price! So we're going to Mercado after all! Please arrive by 11:25 or if you come after please find me in theater - top row! I will be waiting outside till from 11:20 - 11:25 - if it's raining I will be outside but after box office area near doors.

We'll have to figure out something else for lunch afterward if anyone wants to go at that point.

I really want to see this movie, I was wondering if anyone else wanted to go with me? I choose AMC Eastridge theater. I know usually everyone does Saratoga but I kind of like Eastridge, plus there is a food court next to theater we could do lunch after. Or there is Red Robin, Macaroni Grill & Chilis on premises. Movie is 2 1/2 hours so show time will probably be around 10am. Hope people can make it. Will post exact time on Thursday when times are posted.

Synopsis: In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery. With the moral courage and fierce determination to succeed, his choices during this critical moment will change the fate of generations to come.

DIRECTOR - Steven Spielberg

CAST - Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Hal Holbrook, James Spader and more!

Kids behind us drove me crazy, but other than that great movie. Thanks to those who attended.

Hi Marlene, Costco sells AMC and Cinemark movie tickets for $7.50 each. They can be used anytime and they don't expire. So, for example, you can go to a 7pm showing of a movie that costs $10.50, but you'll get in for $7.50! I buy a bunch and keep them in my wallet. That way I can see a movie at a normal hour instead of 11:40am in the morning!

Yep I actually buy those in 50 packs directly from AMC. Those tickets actually will be going up to $8 a piece. AMC contacted to let me. If you want to go see it at a "normal" hour that's totally fine. I like having the rest of the afternoon & night to do stuff & I actually have plans Saturday night so couldn't plan the movie for then.

Ahh, I'm torn. The cast looks AMAZING, but I'm worried they're going to gloss over his prejudiced views toward African-Americans. Does anyone know how this one rates on historical accuracy?

Love the extended axiom, Kennita! While I hold malice only when temper runs high and I let slip my cool, I'm sure I've been ignorant and had indigestion more than anyone could be expected to count.
