Time to sing our hearts out (to varying degrees of ability)!
So here's the scoop so far: Genji is an awesome little place that I karaoke'd at with another group and I thought it might go over well for us to karaoke here. I will get 100% on the details soon, but this is what I know thus far:
- They serve Japanese food. (GOOD food - I thoroughly enjoyed my yaki soba.)
- Song selection is BOSS for English songs. Plus, there are Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Filipino, etc. songs!
- It was fairly easy for us to pay out individually.
So if you wanna rock out with your... uh... voice out, sign on up! Invite whoever! (And I'll be updating the info as soon as I get the nitty-gritty details.)
Cost: the room runs at $70/hr, with whatever is ordered to the room going towards the room charge.
Room size is 16-17 ppl for the largest room, and 10 ppl for the smaller rooms. So the more the merrier! ;D
We can also have the room as long as we want. The rooms aren't reserved in advance, but they advised me to call them the day of, which is of course what I'll be doing. (I'll also try to be there a little earlier.)
Note about the address: the one I posted is the definite right one. On some sites like Yelp, it still lists their old address, but they are most definitely at Wilcrest and Westheimer.
