Table Top Lighting for Beginners - How to shoot product and still life.

Table Top Lighting for Beginners at Alfredo Tisi Imagery

Small Group

For those who missed: "From concept to Print" meeting because were afraid of being beginners or couldn't attend for other reasons.

In this hands-on event we will be shooting product and still life in a simple table top lighting setup. I will provide subjects but feel free to bring something you think interesting. We will set up the lights together and check for variations and how the image changes approaching our concept. Do not bring extra gear! Just bring your camera, any camera that can be set on manual and have a flash hot shoe will do.

This time the group will be limited to 5 members only, so everyone will have the best time possible. A explanation about the printing process will follow. The attendees eventually can order prints from their shots at a discount price, to be picked up in a different occasion. Event duration should be approximately 3 hours.

Registration is $40,00 and is required for RSVP, please understand that this is a limited group and any absence impairs the event.

Parking close the premises is metered, but a couple blocks away isn't.

Hi Jean. You may park in the 2 hour in Louise St. We can take a break and move the car later

Hi Alfredo, any recommendation on what type of lens should I bring?

    February 1, 2013

    • Alfredo T.

A 35mm is a little to broad for table top, if you have a longer lens would be better. But bring the 35 mm we can use to exemplify and compare the results, therefore learning new concepts.

Hi Alfredo, I don't think I'll be able to make this but just in case something changes I'm wondering if you will be teaching those attending how to create these reflections on black backgrounds?
