Studio Portrait and Headshot Hands On Workshop

In this hands on workshop you will learn lighting, posing, production and editing techniques to achieve professional portraits and hedshots. Limited number of of participants to increase learning.

Learning how to lit properly your subject is the first step in this class. How to position strobes and reflectors and other light modifying techniques.

Next step is to recognize the features of the model, the best angle and how to pull the expression to bring out that killer image that will please you and your subject. Most important for this is to learn how to communicate in order to direct the model.

We will be using "TFP" models and makeup artists, which means that they will pose trading their labor for images that they can use in their portfolios, likewise the participants will be able to use their images as well. I'll have model releases for this purpose.

A second workshop using natural light in location is planned to be announced following this one.

There's is a convenient public parking across the street were the meter can be updated with smartphone. There's street parking in some places free but limited to 2 hours, if you don't mind a feel blocks stroll you can find free unlimited parking.

I'm sure that this workshop will give a great start in accomplishing amazing headshots and portraits, besides you will meet interesting people, will get motivation and confidence and have a lot of fun. I have done previous instructional workshops and I've received the best feedback possible and that's my main reward, check with the members.
