Come join us for exploring some of the best bird finding areas and find out by first hand experience the joys of being outdoors in all seasons to watch, photograph, write about.......BIRDS! Throughout the year we will have local activities, picnics, hikes, parties, bird count days, owl calling, and a whole lot more. Bird Behavior: A Party With Questions And Answers

8689 Hidden Lake Drive

This will be a fun time around our fireplace or bonfire on a lake shore, to discuss this past years birding activites, future plans, and give a question and answer session for all things bird behavior for Michigan birds. Bring a dish to pass, your own wine or beer, portable chairs......questions? Te grxt me at: [masked]. We will be discussing the migration and upcoming kayak trip into a busy Sandhill crane marsh where you can see these large birds fly in right over your head and down into the marsh beside you! Olympic BirdFest: 2020

Dungeness River Audubon Center

Lots of events and boating trips to bird islands between the departing of winter migrants to beginning of spring migration. Packed with optional things to do and see from Dungeness Audubon Center, lots of field trips to view a variety of birds and a super banquet at end of the festival. Meet new birders, have fun exploring the Olympic Peninsual by van and boat. RSVP your interest and more info is given online, we will participate as a birding group from Michigan. Stay on another week if you wish as we journey together around the area with so much to do. Boat trip options include the San Juan Islands, Protection Island, Neah Bay, and so much more. Land discovery trips to beaches, spits, and forest areas along the coastline. The second week will be exploring Olympic Peninsula Park. Registration for this very popular and sold out event festival begins January 2020. But send in your RSVP of interest so I can form an idea of group logistics and costs.

Birding The Emerald Isle And The Isle of Skye

Two weeks birding best coastal areas of Ireland and Scotland. Come for just one week if you wish. Dates are tentative for now but close to actual dates. Fee to be determined covers lodging, food at lodging, transportation including any boats, ferries ( fairies?), Leprechaun sightings, and much, much more. You are responsible for getting to first lodging location. A customized birding trip just for YOU! Lots of green spaces and blue water views await your RSVP. No fees due now. All members who paid their $20 annual dues will receive trip discounts.
