International Workers Day, which falls on May 1st of every year, is celebrated throughout the world (with the conspicuous exception of the United States of America). The Haymarket Society exists to make sure that the legacy bequeathed to us by our patriots, who were martyred by this event and by the miscarriage of justice which proceeded, shall not be forgotten; moreover, our mission is to assure that we shall not fail to apply the wisdom, born of the hard-learned lessons of 1886 and 1887, as humanity moves forward into the future.
