This group is for anyone interested in a slow, meditative, calm and self-nourishing yoga practice that involves gentle movement to welcome soft openings into mind-body awareness. Perfect for beginners, or even advanced practitioners wishing to slow down, and de-stress. Yin can also be a great complement to more active and intense yoga practices. Props (i.e., pillows, bolsters, blocks, straps) are supplied during class for your convenience - these are used to settle and relax into poses. While Yin Yoga is gentle, it is still challenging as the poses are held a little longer so that the connective tissues supporting your joints, muscles and ligaments get lengthened and stretched, giving you more flexibility and mobility.
