Hidden Voices Rehearsal
Always wanted to sing but never thought you were good enough? We are a group of people from all walks of life who love music. We all have little or no experience in singing - but are very keen to learn. We have our fantastic musical director Derek Carden on our journey with us. We get together on Thursday evenings in the Phoenix Centre in Crystal Palace. We are eager to grow, so if are looking for a choir, please give ours a try! We would love to meet you! All levels of experience welcome. Find not only your hidden voice, but new friends, community, fun and laughter. In the words of one of our members "It's more than just a choir"!!

What we're about

**** WE ARE BACK UP AND RUNNING - COME AND JOIN US! ****

Always wanted to sing but never thought you were good enough?

We believe that anyone can sing – all you need is the courage to try in a safe and supportive environment. Most of us started with little or no experience in singing, but are amazed by what we have achieved!

We are a mix of people from all walks of life who love music. Our musical director is the fantastic Derek Carden, a professional conductor and music teacher. Our repertoire is varied and includes pop, rock, spirituals and many other genres.

We learn, develop, and always leave rehearsals with a smile. So if you have thought about joining a choir, but weren't quite brave enough before, give us a try!

In addition to discovering our own Hidden Voices, we do make a difference by giving a voice to wildlife: We have created two fundraising events, TRUNK in 2015 (in aid of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Kenya)
and TRUNK2 in 2016 (for the Sri Lankan Wildlife Conservation Society). Both these charities support the protection and well-being of elephants.

We rehearse on Thursday evenings in the Phoenix Community Centre in Crystal Palace. We are not for profit and self-supporting and will ask for a minimum of £10 contribution at the end of each session, first timers pay £5 for a taster session.
