The Park has over 21 miles of trails, ponds & numerous vistas.
We will be hiking the Hayfield, Parks Pond and Orange Trails. Our terrain will run the gamut of old cow pasture, ponds, forest and a mountain! The lovely views and workout that these trails give a hiker are impressive.
DO BRING HYDRATING LIQUIDS AND A SNACK.
This hike has an elevation gain of about 900 feet but it is a strenuous hike over a variety of terrains so plan accordingly. Sturdy hiking shoes, extra layers and rain gear would be advisable. Now would be a good time to put your microspikes into your pack in case we meet ice or snow on the trails. I'm planning on leading this hike rain, snow or Shine.
After the hike, anyone interested can meet us at Pancho's Tacos for your favorite Mexican food and a share a few laughs.
