*Arrive early and hike a short trail that promises outstanding views~Mt. Willard (trailhead is on Crawford Notch Road/Route 302. It is a 3.2 miles out and back trail. Planning for a 12 noon start time.
*Registration time is 4pm - 9pm at Weather Discovery Center, North Conway.
*Don't forget complimentary sock pick up at EMS (if you raised the funds).
*Start time on Saturday the 19th....no later than 6 am. If Tuckerman's is open, the plan is to hike Tuckerman's up and back. An alternate trail will be selected, possibly Boot Spur, if Tuckerman's doesn't open. Another option is the Jewell trail and/or the Ammonoosuc trail, but that involves a longer drive. Will update as we get closer to the event.
*Remember to purchase a hike safe card. For more information: https://www.hikesafe.com/ This site is an awesome resource to help ensure you are prepared. Read about "The Code". Make sure you read about the necessary gear as you need to prepare for ALL WEATHER especially the COLD!
*Do your research on trails, gear and food/water supplies.
*Bad or stormy weather may influence a decision to hike the following day. You can follow the weather:
*Bring cash (if you decide to take a shuttle back down or want to purchase food/goodies at the summit, you will need cash)
