The History Book Club
We hold meetings the third Monday of each month to talk about a historical text based on a wide variety of topics which may include, but are not limited to, the founding of government, wars and treaties, domestic and foreign policy, and technological development. This includes biographies, autobiographies, histories of social and economic development and books on current affairs. Our books are not only well-written and researched, they also provoke critical thinking and lively discussion. They are chosen by group consensus and must come recommended by a group member or have positive reviews by noted book critics. We value our openness, friendliness, and acceptance of all opinions and group members. We’re sure you will enjoy our group.
