This group is for those whose lives have been influenced by international travel. In Lexington, it can be difficult to find people who identify with cross-cultural experiences- discoving different ways of life. If you have an open mind towards international and American cultures, let's hang out.

Wise Bird Cidery

Needs a location

This week let's head over to the Distillery District and check out Lexington's newest cidery, Wise Bird.

After sampling the cider, we'll have the option of either, sticking around for trivia at Wise Bird, which starts at 7 pm, or decamping to Fusion Brewing, or Ethereal Brewing or Elkhorn Tavern. which are a hop, skip and a jump away from Wise Bird. A stop at Crank & Boom for ice cream, or a stop at Goodfellas pizzeria is also a possibility.

Wise Bird has plentiful seating both inside, and outside on their covered patio. They have cornhole, and assorted other games. They also have the Little Fork food trailer right out front.

Parking is available on either side of the five story brick warehouse building that is on the left if you're driving along Manchester from downtown.

Please note that this event has been cross-posted with the Meet And Greet group here in Lexington. Therefore, for a complete list of attendees, please go to the event page for that group:

Jazz On The Porch At Talon Winery (August Edition)

Needs a location

We did this event in July, and we are doing it again in August for all who missed it last time.

Previous description....

You don't have to be an oenophile or jazz lover to enjoy yourself at Talon Winery's monthly event, Jazz On The Porch. The winery's picturesque, bucolic setting will be appreciated by all city-dwellers, and provides an ideal backdrop for noshing, sipping and socializing.

While there are picnic tables available for seating, and some shade on the grounds, for maximum comfort, you'll want to bring your own lawn chair, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.

As the band plays on a covered porch, this is a rain-or-shine event. Leashed dogs are welcome as well.

A grape time will be had by all!
