SHOW REPORT & IDEA SESSION FOR DOCUMENTING FAMILY STORIES

Let's catch up over genealogy this time with two key focuses: 1. GENEALOGY SHOW REPORT - I will have returned from Ireland and the Back to Your Past Show in Dublin (21-23 Oct) and hope to have some good ideas/materials/insights that will be of value to the group (and even some little genealogy adventures I hope!) 2. IDEA SESSION FOR DOCUMENTING FAMILY STORIES - One of our new members, Peter is with timestories (www.timestories.com) and as such has a host of ideas and experience relative to documenting/capturing family stories. So whether you have some great ideas already, wish to enhance what you are already doing or hear more about some ideas that could help capture your family history this will be a session you won't wish to miss. (I look at my upteen boxes, binders, folders as I type...) Hope to see you there! Remember please bringing ideas for meetups! creates moving life story documentaries for families and individuals.

Delighted to connect with so many passionate and informative genealogists. A very convivial afternoon, whetting my appetite for many more to come. Bridget is a delightful hostess!

I think my byline got a little jumbled in the intro above! I will be coming by with examples of heritage preservation tomorrow. See you there!

When Freud came up with the psychoanalytic term "family romance", he might have had my Irish relations in mind. 99% blarney I'm afraid.
