The National Archives of New York City has announced a series of 4 family genealogy workshops it is holding in March, April, May & June. Topics include the 1940 U.S. census, using military records and genealogy sources in the New York area.

Programs are free but space is limited. Reservations needed. National Archives is currently located at 201 Varick Street. It is scheduled to move downtown in the fall of 2012.
