Concept 2 rowing test score due date
Concept 2 test score is due on this date for all paddlers. 2:00 test for max distance in meters. Any fan setting you chose. Find setting for single time on the machine. I will only accept 2:00, not 1:59, not 2:01. Send me picture of result along with you current body weight. I will use the Concept 2 weight adjustment formula to make this fair for smaller paddlers. ALL RESULTS WILL BE POSTED ON MEETUP. This will not be used to seat race boats or rank paddlers. It is just something to keep everyone training hard and make us strong outside of the boat. This is a rowing machine and we are not rowers, we are dragon boaters! This will be the first of 3 scores due in the off season. Feb. 15 and April 15 the other two scores will be due, same test. The test is mandatory unless you have a medical concern. Please contact me if you have a medical concern. If this machine is new to you please find someone on our team to help you get started. Please practice before submitting test result. Only the first test result you send me will count for each deadline. In other words if you send me a test result on Dec. 13 and have a better result on Dec. 14, the Dec. 13 score is the one I will use. Only one test result per paddler, so make it a good one. Have fun with this and do not stress over your result. FYI, My personal Concept 2 times are not very good compared to my Southern Heat and Team USA teammates. I just relax and do the best I can. Thanks, Mike

What we're about

Dragon boating is one of the fastest growing water sports in the world! it is a team sport in its purest form, and encompasses the elements of power, speed, synchronization and endurance. The Island City Dragon Boat Club has formed a Women's RACE Team, and we encourage you to consider becoming a member. Our primary focus is to train hard, and be competitive. Our mission is to compete in as many races as possible during the season. We are asking anyone interested to contact the captain or the club organizer for more information and to reserve a place on the boat. This will be a Women's Race Team only for now. Women 18 and older who have an athletic and competitive mindset are welcome to join us at practice! Come and train to become a serious Dragon Boater and join our racing team! No Experience Necessary. Our club does not discriminate based on race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, national/ethnic origin, or political beliefs.
