Grandmother Earth and Grandmother Planet

We live on this planet called Grandmother Earth where we experience being in 'substance', in physical form. As we live here, there are many things Grandmother Earth desires to teach us - are you listening? Do you have an idea of what to listen for?

Grandmother Earth is one of 12 Grandmother Planets, each of which have human life in some form on them. As a collective, they also desire to teach us - are you listening? Do you have an idea of what to listen for?

I invite you to come and learn of Grandmother Earth and the Grandmother Planets - the 2 and 12 of the Children's 20 count. Come and tap into how these energies can help you walk your life more fully.

Marie Moon Star Seeker

Marie has been engaging the teachings of the Sweet Medicine SunDance Path since the year 2000. She is the leader of the Owl Hawk Lodge in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she shares the knowledge of this path and where she conducts purification lodges. Oh, yeah, she is also a registered nurse, engages many creative fiber crafts such as weaving and knitting, and pursues finding the waterfalls of Michigan.

Come, bring your friends and your kids and experience the Great Lakes Shamanic Community. Hear about the rich fabric of the Teachings and Ceremonial opportunities offered in the area.

Our monthly gatherings are on THE SECOND FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH. July will be a Drum Circle, Bonfire evening. We don't meet in August as our all-community Ceremony is that month.

Our Theme for this Year is The Children’s 20 Count. It’s a basic teaching about the powers of all Creation. We’ll learn about how the Universe is ready, willing and able to assist us in our search for happiness. The first 10 are the Tonal or more material aspects and 11-20 are the Spiritual aspects. Each month we will explore one Tonal and one Nagual aspect.

Join us as we learn, experience and share on our journey toward enlightenment.

WHO? All ages are welcome. Kids ages 3 – 12 will have an hour-long program during the teaching for age appropriate activities, songs and crafts. Children ages infant to 3 Years are welcome to stay with parents for the duration.

WHAT? Each evening consists of singing, drumming, and discussions about deepening our connections to Spirit and finding out more about our selves. There will be a teaching by one of the Lodge Leaders who will rotate throughout the year. You will learn useful tools to increase your happiness quotient.
