For those of you that are around on Good Friday I have booked a table at the Chinese restaurant Min Jiang in the Kensington Royal Gardens Hotel. This restaurant gets great reviews especially for its duck so was on my list to try. Table is booked for 6:45 so if you have the day off you could explore the nearby South Kensington Musuems or Kensington Palace. The restaurant is a 2 min walk from Kensington High Street Station, next to Kensington Gardens.
Unless you are a fully paid annual member please pay the £3 admin fee when you book on to confirm you place as there is only 8 available.
"Situated in the heart of fashionable Kensington and in a lofty position on the tenth floor of the Royal Garden Hotel, Min Jiang boasts breathtaking views of Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park and London"s skyline. The restaurant design combines striking blue and white Chinese vases against deep… contemporary red walls, creating an unforgettable dining experience. Min Jiang is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week and undoubtedly the highlight of any visit to Min Jiang is the wood fired Beijing Duck and the exquisite Dim Sum!"
