Playtesters: 2nd #LEGup Playtesting event with Playtest UK

  • Oct 2, 2013 · 6:30 PM

Please note that the event will start promptly at 7pm, so please arrive in plenty of time.

This is the PLAYTESTERS meetup for the 2nd #LEGup Playtesting event in association with Playtest UK.

Please RSVP for one of the 20 playtester places here. There is no charge for #LEGup members to playtest the developer’s projects. (If you would like to bring a project to be playtested, please RSVP at this meetup instead.)

We hope that this will be a fun experience, as well as giving an insight into development and an opportunity to provide input that will shape future games. Playtesters will not be able to bring their own projects to be tested at this event, but are free to sign up as developers for subsequent playtesting meetups.

There will be 2 x 30 mins playtesting rounds for you to experience and give feedback on the different projects. The event will last approximately 1 hour 30 mins with small intervals and refreshments. There will also be time for you to continue the discussion into the social parts of the evening.

If you need advice on how to approach the testing, please email Rob Harris ([masked]).

As spaces will be strictly limited to 20 playtesters, please consider your attendance carefully before you RSVP for this event. A waiting list will be in operation.

Hey all, gutted that I can't make it tonight. I'd be interested in reading a post-mortem of the evenings festivities, if such a thing exists?

Best of luck to everyone involved, and I'll see you next time!

Message to the testers for Wednesday :

I will be presenting my new app for kids tomorrow evening about the Trojan war; I am looking for a tester who would be able to bring their own ipad device; the plan would be to give this person a promo code they that he/she can install the app for free. Contact me directly if you can help !

Hi Albin. Look forward to seeing you on Wednesday. As you have signed up for the developers meetup, you don't need to sign up here as a playtester as well. Cheers, Rob

Hi Harvey. Thanks for your message. To present your games for member testing on October 2nd, you will need to sign up for the Developers: 2nd #LEGup Playtesting event. Please let me know if you have any questions about how to do this. Best wishes, Rob

I took part as a developer last time, and found it very useful. Testing works both ways - you never stop learning when it comes to games!
