Do you sometimes feel that life is a struggle, that you don't know how to handle stress or that negative thinking patterns can overwhelm you and leave you feeling drained or powerless? Using the tools offered by the 8 week Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy Course (MBCT) and combining these with other methodologies for self-awareness this course offers you a new perspective on how to relate to the things you struggle with.
- Learn how to stay present and act from a still centre even when life is chaotic.
- Develop a practice of gratitude that can help you find a deeper joy in life
- Discover powerful new ways of influencing your inner talk so it supports and nurtures you.
Together with a small group of other explorers you'll be learning from your own life experience throughout the course and from what each person brings into the weekly conversations.
Previous participants have described this course as being "life changing" and "the single most important thing I have done for my mental health - I recommend all of my friends do it". Join us and find out for yourself how you can experience an increased joy, strength and vitality in your life.
This is a gay friendly space open to anyone to attend.
8 sessions meeting over 8 weeks on Wednesday evenings from October 20th to December 8th.
