We will be celebrating the Feast of Fools on Saturday 28th December, and will hold a traditional bean-feast. The person receiving the bean will be declared king for the day, take the position of high priest/ess and distribute the houzle. EI-OU, the coven horse will perform a shamanic dance in the Mari Lywd/Hooden Horse style. We will not be eating horse this year, but will have a horse cake to symbolise the eating of the horse. We will meet in a pub in the Balham area at 7.00 p.m., and then leave for the house of a local plough witch a little after 8.00 p.m. The event will end in time to allow people to catch the tube home.
Attendance is restricted to those who have been to a previous event as it is being held in a private house.
