Cambio de Tercio is widely considered to be the best Spanish restaurant in London. Exciting modern Spanish cooking is served in a chic setting and the wine list has the most comprehensive Iberian range anywhere in the UK. Ramon Ramirez, member of the group, knows the chef and has arranged for us to have their fabulous Spring tasting menu as follows:
Beetroot Baked in clay, foam, yogurt
Mussels in paprika escabeche
Raw oyster, grapefruit air, shallots vinaigrette
Salty cod and olive oil brandada
Grilled cod fish, rustic casserole of Pedrosillano
chick peas with spinach and salty cod
Veal cheek burger(no bun), pan fried Foie
gras, artichokes, caramelized tomatoes
"THE PERFUME" Passion fruit, peach, Tonka
Beans (jasmine & roses)
If you have any dietary requirements the chef can provide an alternative up to a maximum of a change in 2 courses per person (otherwise it will get far too complicated!). Please let me know when you RSVP.
This menu per the restaurant's website costs £39 + 12.5% service charge, and the pre-pay of £46 covers this + the Paypal fees. We will choose wines on the night for the table to share and this will work out at around a further £30-35 per head depending on which wines we select. This will be a truly gastronomic experience.
