Sunday June 9 - Wild Edibles Walk and Making "Wild" Sodas
I have not been in this location for over a year so this should be interesting, it's a beautiful walk, we should see some green walnuts, thistles and all kinds of interesting edible and aromatic plants. I know you can find some walnuts too but it's not in season yet.
We'll walk slowly for a couple of hours, there is a water stream and some very nice view under an impressive bridge. It's a good example of hidden wilderness in an urban setting.
After the walk, we'll drink some homemade mugwort/lemon or white sage/limes sodas and I'll show you how it's done. So easy to make.
Bring water, good walking shoes, bag(s) if you want to collect some plants. Notebook is a good idea - feel free to take photos too.
See you there!
Time: From 10 A.M. to around 1 P.M.
