Sunday June 29 Traditional Elderberry Wine Workshop
We should have a lot of elderberries by that time. During the first part of the class we'll go on a plant identification walk and look at local and seasonal plants.
Of course, we'll pick up some elderberries - either white or black, probably both.
After the walk we'll sit down and I will demonstrate steps by steps how to make a traditional Belgian (French too) Elderberry wine.
As usual we'll have some wild drinks sampling (infusion or other) and a small snack with foraged mustard. As a small bonus, I'll show you how to make some gourmet mustard on location with foraged mustard seeds from local black mustard (we'll see some too).
We'll meet under the 210 Freeway bridge on Orcas Avenue and start the walk from there.
The address is: 11295 Orcas Ave , Lakeview Terrace 91342, CA
Nice pets are welcome. Kids too. Children under 10 are 1/2 price.
Time: From 10 A.M. to around 2:00 P.M.
