Traditional Elderberry Wine Workshop & Making Wild Gourmet Mustard

Sunday June 29  Traditional Elderberry Wine Workshop

We should have a lot of elderberries by that time. During the first part of the class we'll go on a plant identification walk and look at local and seasonal plants.

Of course, we'll pick up some elderberries - either white or black, probably both.

After the walk we'll sit down and I will demonstrate steps by steps how to make a traditional Belgian (French too) Elderberry wine.

As usual we'll have some wild drinks sampling (infusion or other) and a small snack with foraged mustard. As a small bonus, I'll show you how to make some gourmet mustard on location with foraged mustard seeds from local black mustard (we'll see some too).

Location:

We'll meet under the 210 Freeway bridge on Orcas Avenue and start the walk from there.

The address is: 11295 Orcas Ave , Lakeview Terrace 91342, CA

Nice pets are welcome. Kids too. Children under 10 are 1/2 price.

Time: From 10 A.M. to around 2:00 P.M.

Cost: $35.00

Yeah, it was awesome! I think I have enough for two gallons of wine. And I will be making some mustard soon as well, good times!

Hi Pascal, I'm sorry my son isn't feeling well and we're not going to make it this morning :-( Let me know if our fee can be applied towards the next walk? Apologies.

Sure - you can totally apply it for any other class. Sorry to hear about your son - hope the little guy feels better soon!
