Don't just grow, engage!
Meetup organiser and professional marketeer, Lisa Goll, will be presenting a mini-workshop on marketing, promotion and increasing engagement.
In this talk, you'll hear tips on these topics:
- how to actively grow members for your group
- how to keep members engaged and returning to your events
- how to attract relevant partners and sponsors
- how to ensure your events are (very) well attended and reviewed
Lisa is the chair of London Writers' Cafe, an extremely lively meetup where creative writers meet to read, share and connect, as well as hosting industry speakers for special guest talks. Lisa has been running LWC for the past three years and in that time she has tripled its size - and now regularly sell outs many of the events she hosts.
So this talk is for all organisers - whether established or novice - to get some down-to-earth guidance from someone who has made some specular failures (which I'm sure she'll share) but also worked really hard to make her group a big success.
Sounds interesting, right? There's bound to be something you feel you could do better and Lisa's presentation promises to provide some answers or, if not, you can always corner her later in the bar! Or ask her on Twitter now @LisasShare.
