Group Name

The Asian-Pacific Expats Club in the UK (APECUK) and The UK Interpreters, Translators & Linguists (UKITL) Meetup Group.

List one/more challenges that you have faced in being an organizer?

I'm doing a launch this Friday for my Interpreter group and will do one for the Asian-Pacific group soon. So far no problem setting up and running the groups. Although I'd like more people to be aware and join my groups.

How would you like the group to support you?

I'd like to recruit more members and get ideas for meetups. I think Organisers should be called Founders, and the title Organisers should be reserved for people who help Founders to organise, etc...

Hi, I'm Sean and I'm a new Organiser. I had problems being a member and a Co-Organiser with a couple of groups, they didn't like my ideas so I left and set up on my own. I like to be in full control and answer to no one.

What Son Kim D. is saying about this Meetup Group

Fantastic bunch of people, very knowledgeable and helpful. Look forward to the next meetup.
