In case you have not heard, The Green Owl Cafe has moved their Raw Night to a new night.  It will now be held on the last Sunday of every month.  Below is a message from Raw Chef Cara.  Just a reminder to all of you that we have a message board for announcements like this as well as discussions.  Have a great weekend and I hope to see you at an upcoming Raw Food Meetup!

Green Owl is having our first Sunday Raw Night NEXT SUNDAY! I should have posted to you earlier, but things got hectic!! It is now an event where we will open up the whole restaurant JUST for Raw Night, we are not normally open on Sunday Nights. The Price is $35.00 and that includes everything (service, too) Drinks will be extra like usual, and there will be open bar.
Sunday's menu will be a Middle Eastern theme:

Salad: local lettuce with dates, almonds, shaved artichoke hearts tossed in a lemon vinaigrette
Soup: cucumber-mint soup
Small plate: dolmas (fresh grape leaves stuffed with cauliflower "rice", currants, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh dill) served with an almond tzatziki sauce
Entree: Nut falafal with lemon tahini sauce, raw tabouli salad, raw mahammara (red pepper and walnut spread), served with Bibb lettuce and Israeli cucumber-tomato salad
Dessert: orange blossom-poppyseed cheesecake with figs.
