The Meditation Center is a learning center for the community. It is a place to detach from the daily pressures of life to re-energize the spirit and reconnect with the self. It is a space designed to create feelings of welcome, safety, and peace.

Courses and programs focus on developing each person’s own spiritual journey by emphasizing a process of self-discovery of one’s own inner qualities. Students are helped to achieve peace of mind by learning a practical form of meditation. The Meditation Center cuts across boundaries and is open to all faiths. It also serves as the main center of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual Organization in New Jersey.

Just Meditate

Soft music…Meditative environment…Guided commentaries… IT'S FREE. ARE YOU? Meditation enables us to create new attitudes and responses to life, providing a spiritual understanding of ourselves. It is a process of rediscovering and using our positive qualities. All that we need to do is practice to make it natural and easy. 1. Comfortable chairs to sit on. 2. Business casual attire. Light colored clothes preferred. 3. There is no incense stick, but sometimes we do keep a candle, which will be on the stage. The hall is large enough for you to move around if uncomfortable with the aroma. You can even request any of the coordinators to remove them if you are not comfortable with it. 4. If you like silence or like to build silence and contemplation in your life style this will be the right place to start. 5. There is no one lecturing or giving a talk. Just some nice meditative music interspersed with silence. We play few commentaries to focus the mind and give some direction to it. 6. Think of it as a Gym for your mind. A place where you can go daily to exercise your mind to refocus, to lighten and to energize. 7. You can walk-in any time and walk-out any time during the meditation hour. No questions asked. As long as you are not disturbing the peace and tranquility of the place and fellow meditators.

7:00 to 7:30 : Meditation. 7:30 to 8:30 : Sharing. We have lot of news out there to drain us. Why not get together and talk about something uplifting and spiritual. We provide you with a safe atmosphere to come and share your insights. An informal setup where we take a topic and share our insights. We will have a coordinator who will lead the session and help the group stay within the topic of discussion. IT'S FREE. ARE YOU?
