"The Mental Game”
Everything we do is about mental performance. Skills are a basic necessity, of course, but ask any successful person or sports champion, and they will tell you that it is 90% mental.
This meetup will focus on combining ancient wisdom with modern science that make up that 90% mental component and sharing that knowledge with you.
The subtopics which overlap will include building peak performance, using positive psychology and self talk, building willpower, building confidence, creating / eliminating habits, learning, creativity, building good goals, purpose, movement and meditation, nutrition, sleep and eliminating anxiety. I will draw from my background in psychology, my experience as a competitive high school athlete, success in business and the 219 books that I have read from the listed topics.
