The program includes both sitting and walking meditation, as well as a variety of mindfulness practices in the canyon forest. I think we've all experienced at one time or another the wonder of interconnecting with nature, and how conducive this kind of setting can be for inner tranquility and understanding. These experiences are suitable for the beginner to advanced practitioner. We'll meet-up once a week at the park's Nature Center and go from there... practicing how to more fully experience each moment of life.
The regular sessions are either outside in the canyon or in the Nature Center, depending on weather. Chairs are available for the inside sitting meditations... if you prefer to use a meditation cushion please bring one along. We often do short trail walks in Monrovia Canyon to practice mindfulness in the midst of nature.
