Tonight we'll revisit the Del Monte Forest that lies within the S.F.B. Morse Preserve in Pebble Beach that is home to some of the area's most beautiful nature trails. The surrounding area contains more than 25 miles of trails for hiking and equestrian activities. Total hiking distance will be roughly 5 miles with about 800 feet of cumulative elevation gain.

Holman Highway (Hwy 68)
Junction with Haul Road (click map link above)
Monterey, CA 93940

PARKING ADVISORY: There is limited parking available along a turnout area on the west side of Hwy 68 near where we'll be starting the hike. PLEASE DRIVE CAREFULLY AS YOU APPROACH THE TURNOUT ALONG HIGHWAY 68. Vehicles often pass through here very quickly....PLEASE allow extra braking distance between you and the cars behind you as you approach the parking area. You also might consider carpooling from the Safeway parking lot near the corner of Hwy 68 and Prescott.

NOTE: This week's hike will be almost entirely on single-track nature trails in/throughout the Del Monte Forest.
