Stuart Volkow, P.G.A. member, and U.C.L.A. Instructor in Media and Entertainment since 1994. Stuart has worked as a Creative Executive for Mike Medavoy’s Phoenix Pictures, A Development VP for Michael Bay’s production company, The Institute, and launched a full-time cable TV channel out of Miami FL, The Fifth Avenue Channel, which was a pioneer in Internet broadband distribution and had a good run on the NASDAQ. During the music industry disruption, he worked as a Technical Manager for EMI Music Publishing and its APM Music (www.apmmusic.com) subsidiary, enjoying a few years of London/LA travel while developing advanced search and digital distribution products. He's also an AFI grad.

Stu knows everybody in the industry, and will bring celebrated monthly guest speakers (yep, you may recognize a few!) to the group to share their expertise in producing, financing and distributing movies. You'll get into the nitty-gritty of how films are made, what mistakes to avoid, and who really calls the shots.

After the workshop you'll have a chance to meet everybody and make some deals.
