Cannon Cemetery is a long forgotten cemetery from the Civil War with over a hundred graves. The roads going to Cannon Cemetery have not been accessible, since the 1960’s, when the Tennessee Corp of Engineers flooded the low lands, which now are covered by Percy Priest Lake. We will put in a Stewart Creek Recreational Area in Smyrna. The kayaking part will take about 40 minutes.
full duration of the outing should be about 4 hours. Bring snacks,hot dogs buns etc, and drinks, we will have a small fire to grill our dogs and relax by waterside
