If you are a novice or love art, our Chelsea Art Gallery Tours are a fun and casual way to explore a great part of the city while socializing and making new friends and connections.
With over 300 art galleries in Chelsea, our Gallery Tour Led by Rafael Risemberg with a Ph.D. in arts education finds the most innovative art, and leads you on an insightful, entertaining and affordable journey through the contemporary art scene. Rafael explains the art in ways that makes the experience meaningful to those who don’t know a lot about art as well as those who do.
Highlights of this ALL-NEW tour, our most extraordinary in December in any gallery area: (1) a female European artist’s exciting video projections of exuberant dancers in imaginative costumes, (2) stunningly original large-scale pointillistic paintings using a startling new methodology, and (3) the most enormous, most ravishing colored glass installation we’ve ever seen! These are just 3 of 7 fascinating exhibits.
Since the exhibits change each month, this will be an All New Tour
Our tours take place RAIN or SHINE, as we’re indoors over 90% of the time. You will be amazed at how much you will learn and enjoy both the art and the people on the tour!
The group will meet at Starbucks 525 West 26th between 10th and 11th prior to the tour.
Cost $25 *Bring exact cash to the event please*
